Sqezy bottle

Case number - AIBDC : 005573
A Sqezy dishwashing soap bottle circa 1960 made from blow moulded low density polyethylene with an injection moulded polypropylene flip top closure. This bottle demonstrates the transition from the earlier bottles which had metal ends. It was made for Domestos Ltd. by BXL Cascelloid Division. The offset 3 colour printing on the outer surface brands the bottle in its distinctive colours.

Presumably someone or a group of people designed the bottle and someone else supplied the graphics. Do you know who was involved? Your memories of BXL would also be really welcome. Please tell us what you can.
